FARM TEAMMATE JOB DESCRIPTION 2025
A teammate position at Owl’s Nest Farm is hard work with your body; it’s demanding and exhausting and often wonderful. Not only will you work outside in all weather conditions, but we also need you to move quickly and efficiently. We think you’ll learn a lot, but this is a paid job, not an internship or apprenticeship.
We’re looking for someone who gives a damn about the people they work with: collective care and responsibility are central to our team culture. Showing up consistently, on time, and with thoughtfulness for your impact, are essential parts of your responsibility to the collective here. This farm operates in a worker ownership model, and is looking for a person excited about participating in a highly cooperative space.
Farming is highly skilled labor and our team is a best fit for folks looking for a farm home to be rooted in. Preference will be given to farmers who express interest in a 2 season commitment.
We’re hoping to hire for one full-time role from April to November 2025, but we’re open to part–time roles if there’s a good fit.
