We have been enjoying produce from the CSA of Owl’s Nest Farm all year round since 2022, and it has been a fantastic experience. Their farm-fresh vegetables are always vibrant, delicious and grown with care.
The convenience of picking up our half share (every other week) in North Brentwood makes it even easier to stay stocked with fresh, local produce. We added on the egg share and we receive 2 dozen eggs every month. The eggs are equally delicious and reasonably priced.
Some of our favorite items from Owl’s Nest include carrots, spinach, arugula, Swiss chard, tomatoes, and fresh herbs. Every bite tastes fresher than what we find in grocery stores, and we appreciate knowing exactly where our food comes from.
One of the most exciting aspects of being part of this CSA is discovering new vegetables we might not have tried otherwise. Through Owl’s Nest, we’ve been introduced to unique produce like rutabaga, kohlrabi, and black radishes, expanding our cooking and eating habits in unexpected ways.
The North Brentwood CSA pick up is hosted by Farmer Howl, who is always so knowledgeable and helpful when we have questions about our half share. We highly recommend Owl’s Nest Farm to anyone looking for fresh, high-quality vegetables and a deeper connection to local food!
