We love being a part of the Owl's Nest CSA! One of the things that keeps us coming back each season (in addition to the truly delicious veggies) is the community we've become a part of. Being connected to the food that we're eating, the people who grow and harvest it, and our neighbors who are also members is really special. We really value knowing where our food comes from and trust the wonderful farmers behind Owl's Nest.

When we first joined, we were always trying new and often pretty elaborate recipes to use up our CSA produce. This was a major source of comfort and joy in 2020 when we passed a lot of our time cooking at home. Now that we have a toddler, our cooking is a lot simpler - we make a lot of soups and sauces with our veggies and keep them in the freezer so that things don't go bad and we have easy meals on busy nights.

It's been such a treat to watch our daughter grow to love Owl's Nest as much as we do. Some of her first foods were CSA sweet potatoes and carrots. We will also never forget when she took a big bite of a raw garlic straight out of the ground at her first open house on the farm, or when she bit into a tomato and ate it like an apple on the way home from a pickup one week.
