Family hot pot nights have become a Sunday evening tradition in our home, thanks to the incredible produce from Owl’s Nest. It’s the perfect way to get kids excited about eating nutritious greens! Winter weekends are especially special—picking up fresh greens on Saturdays and gathering around a hot pot on Sundays has become something we all look forward to.

I’ve been with Owl’s Nest for years, and it’s easy to see why. Supporting a local, female-owned CSA brings so much meaning to the simple act of grocery shopping. Every visit is a joyful experience, and over time, my cooking has transformed as I’ve learned to focus on what’s in season. The result? Healthier, more delicious meals that my entire family loves. Even my mom, when she visits, swears her homemade kimchi tastes the best when she uses the fresh Napa cabbage from Owl’s Nest.

For those new to a CSA, my advice is to set reminders and calendar alerts to stay on top of pickups—it’s a small habit that makes all the difference. Liz’s helpful reminders are a wonderful backup, and on the rare occasions life gets too hectic, she goes above and beyond to work with you on missed pickups (though, of course, it’s best not to make it a habit!).

This CSA has become a meaningful part of our lives. My kids have grown up knowing the joy of fresh, local produce—from farm to table—and that’s a gift. A special shoutout to Erin for being such a superstar—your dedication shines through in everything you do.

Owl’s Nest, you’re truly the best. Thank you for nourishing not just our bodies, but also our hearts with the community you’ve built.
